Behold the cruelty of fate. In Vikram Samvat 2057, a devastating earthquake struck Kutch, completely destroying the entire village and the temple. However, by the grace of the Lord, the idol remained intact, a miracle in itself. The need for the renovation and reconstruction of the tirth became essential. This was a monumental task, but with the divine blessings of Acharya Shri Kalapurnasurishwarji and the guidance and efforts of Acharya Surishwarji, the construction work began with jet speed in Vikram Samvat 2059.
After the renovation, in accordance with the final wishes of Bhagwant Kalapurnasurishwarji, the main idol of the tirth was consecrated. This idol, a magnificent 31-inch ancient idol of Shri Munisuvrat Swamiji from Gedi village in Rapar Taluka, now serves as the principal deity. Under the auspices of Acharya Bhagwant Kalaprabhasurishwarji, a grand Pratishtha Mahotsav was held on Bhadarva Sud 10, Vikram Samvat 2062. Since then, every Saturday, hundreds of devotees visit the tirth to worship Shri Munisuvrat Swamiji, finding solace and peace from their worldly afflictions.
